@A toe into March.

Boy, oh boy. In just a blink of an eye, it's already March - well, at least it will be tomorrow.

I have only half-prepared myself for the job interview later in the evening, and I haven't tender my resignation letter. Shoot, but it's getting harder to quit the airport job. Nope, it's not the job that's pulling me back. It's the friendships that have nurtured from my brief stint at Nuance-Watson. Eating meals with Gracia, popping over to her Benefit counter to play, talking to mummy Doris, blah blah. Hate the job, love the people. Contradictory, huh? Oh well.

Anyway, I have things I really want to start doing once I've gotten a more regular job. I've already taken up Mrs Liang's offer to help tutor biology and I want to get more tution-ing jobs. Also, once I've snooped around the language centres enough to settle on one, language courses are on the way. *cheers*

Alrighty, time to go get ready. I'm going Lin Xun's house for sleepover later. Wheee!

@Gucci Rush

I want! I want!

This absolutely darling Gucci bag is topping all the existing wishlists I ever had, but it is also one of the items then I definitely am not getting in near future. Sighs.

In the transit mall, this lovely is priced at a whopping! three thousand five hundred. And although there is a 25% discount, it still adds up to more than two thousand dollars. Shoot! Luckily the white one has already been sold, else I'll be even more tempted - which I already am.

To think of it, the brown one looks gorgeous as well.

"Two thousand dollars..."

"I wasn't even considering!"

Yeah, right.

@Hot Pink

The American who spoke in fluent chinese, assuming that I'm a bloody china girl. Which, although is a great personal insult, amused me to no ends. The Russians who rattle off at approximately one thousand eight hundred miles per second -in russian, nonetheless- and expect total comprehension. (For your information, my list of russian vocabulary only includes 'Da' which means 'Yes'.) The Chinese who glared at me for not carrying Anna Sui makeup in the airport -yes, yes that's my fault as well- and waited for me to magick them out of thin air. Oh, and learning how to ask 'Sir/Mdm, do you have a ziplock bag?' in a dozen different languages. Ookay, I exaggerated. Just four.

Working at the airport, nothing really surprises me anymore. Haha.

I've still got quite a number of things I promised myself I would complete which I haven't got around doing it.

o1. ppt slides design
o2. FP story
o3. PSblog layout (YES, I need to start doing a new one.)

My photoshop is collecting dust because I haven't got the spare time to meddle with it. And I still need to ask Beng to help me fix my bloody computer. Gah.

Anyway, rumour has it that results will be out on the 29th February. A rather reliable rumour I might add. Dang, I don't think I really prepared for it.

This entry is so full of random thoughts. Sorry for being such a disorganised writer. Lols. It's 3am in the morning and I just got home from work so I have no strength to even attempt at collecting my thoughts. Just bear with me. I'll try to be more comprehensive next time.

That's all folks! Ciao~

Psssst! A passenger complimented on my new hot pink nail enamel. Wheeee. Lala is a happy girl!

@10 RANDOM CONFESSIONS

one I love buttons. Especially bright, enormous buttons. It's a secret fantasy of mine to have them pasted/sewn/glued on everything - clothes, hairclips, books. You name it.

two I avoid eating chocolates with nuts because they get stuck. Not only because of the discomfort it causes, but also to lower the risks of not being caught dead with nuts sticking between my pearly whites. Yes, yes, yes. I'm vain.

three Fantasizing is a great past time of mine. Next time you see me stoning in a corner with a dreamy wispy look, don't come over, you might be disrupting my wedding with Channing Tatum. Ha!

four I hate the feeling of wet hair dripping buckets of water down my back after I bathe - gives me the bloody chills. So, bundling up that mess on my head with a towel till it dries is a must. Though that is no longer a very important point because I've chopped my hair off!

five I have no idea what I want to do as a career in future because I want to do everything! Fascination with a dozen different careers does seem to make me lose sight of my own goals.

six There's a love-hate relationship with myself. On certain days I would tell my mirror image she's attractive, intelligent, have a wonderful social life, blah blah. On others, I just see a girl who is plain ugly, no goals, pathetic love life and a social life that is going straight into the gutter. Damnit.

seven I am waiting for that fateful day when I discover an innate talent in me.

eight Jealousy is my middle name. When I get jealous, you can smell vinegar from a mile away.

nine There is this desperate craving in me to see the world. I know what you're thinking: Hell, everyone wants to travel. But this craving has exceptionally sharp claws which are getting sharpen everyday as I watch passengers at the airport head for various parts of the world.

ten I absolutely, totally, fanatically, hate my nose. If only I didn't have such a low tolerance for pain, I would get a nose job this very instant.

@The very first day.

I feel like a goldfish. You know, the way they keep opening their mouths like they want to give you a piece of their mind but nothing comes out. Likewise, I keep opening my mouth but I can't find the words for this entry. So in order not to spoil this fabulous first day of chinese new year with a lousy entry which is totally incapable of relaying my emotions, I decided not to say anything afterall. Just a few photos to share - caught on film (metaphorically, everything is going digital now) on the whim of my sister.

The pictures are small because, well, this is my sister's laptop. And don't ask me why that should explain the miniature photos. Just because.

P.S My sister, brother and I were clamouring for the mirror (because it was the biggest) when my sister decided that standing on a chair would perhaps be an added advantage.

I'm working late tomorrow. Damnit.

@Reunion and Beansprouts

This week was totally rubbish because I worked for six days straight - four early flights and two late shifts - instead of the usual four days. Is it any wonder that the amount of shortages I have is absolutely mindboggling? Well, perhaps the only good deed that came out of this horrific week was the strengthening of my resolve to resign at the end of February.

There, I said it.

Meanwhile I shall look around for other jobs before I tender my resignation letter. Gracia and Julie both mentioned a very good company - still within the transit area. Maybe it would be worth a try. Hehe. I like working in the transit area, I'm just not particularly in love with my current job.

Luckily, I don't have to crawl back to work today which happens to be the all-important Chinese New Year Eve. Yayy! Reunion dinner - with our usual mouthwatering steamboat - at Grandma and Grandpa's house was lovely. Good to see everyone, although we will still see them tomorrow when we gather again. Whee. The post-dinner activity was for the cousins was to help Grandma prepare beansprouts - yes, you got it, the tougays! Haha. It's suppose to be the one of the ingredients for the dinner menu tomorrow. There is something intensely fun and enormously domestic about plucking beansprouts while we chat and make jokes. Not to mention hilarious when we found those green things stucked in my poor cousin's hair. *grins* I took a photo, but I lost my cable. Turtles. [EDIT: I got the photo uploaded!]

Anyway, might be sometime before I come here again. So, have fun everyone! Enjoy your reunion dinnner. (:

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! ^__^
