@rugrats

anyway i have teachers' day dedications to dish out! *grins*

first up is to our dearest CT.. mr ng haojin!
sorry for making you upset so many times this year! >_< i know its not exactly very easy to be 06S304's form teacher, maths tutor and project work facilitator. so a great great thanks to you and you look HOT in our shirt! whee~

next in the queue is to our most corny and hilarious.. mr wong cheechoy!
mr wong! you even more endothermic than us! haha. all your cold jokes require so much energy they make the surrounding temperatures drop to negative value! haha. and i still don't understand ionic equilibrium.. rahh. i need consultations before you shave off your spiky hair for reservice! lols. oh yarh. just a note: we love your italian accent! *grins!* the hello kitty cute right? (don't look so disgusted.. you know your wife will love us kids!) wahaha.

let me see still got who.. oh yes. kwang's twin.. mr owen tan (junkeong)!
you and your crazy green bandana! lols. i still don't really like the way you teach but you are nice as a teacher i guess. haha. oops this don't really sound like a nice dedication. but well, hopefully you'll be able to teach better as time passes by! ^_^ happy teacher's day!

last but not the least... ms soh aihoon!
you're one of the best bio tutor i ever had! (though i admit i only had one.. no matter!) 06S304 miss you like mad eversince you heartlessly abandoned us in mr tan's care.*sobs* haha. but anyway i hope you have a time of your life tomorrow! haha. throw out the scripts you were getting ready to mark, put up your legs and relax! haha. ^_^

ugh i feel like eating the D24 durian icecream from perkcafe... rachelle!

ps. photos to be up soon!

@FIRE!

thanks bingy for offering your vacuum cleaner, but no thank you. haha. i shall clear away the dust on this blog myself. *grins*

it's been hell of a week. the usual stuff i guess. haha. tutorials, projects and fire drills. yes, i just said fire drills. haha. we had one yesterday which is totally hilarious. everyone was busy laughing over what the viceprincipal is trying to announce over the pa system to at least pretending to run for our lives. seriously, my primary school fire drills were MUCH more exciting.

tomorrow is the teachers' day celebrations, and the theme for the day is "be yourself day". each class to dress up in either movies or glam to join the 'best dressed class'. by pure accident, our class chose rugrats. -.- hahaha. damn funny. we cant find any nice shirts to wear so we bought a plain PINK tee from giordano and spray painted it! haha. tracy and i went to cut out the stencil, some went to buy the shirts. we even bought pessifiers and also sponges to make our name tags. haha. kawaii! 06S304 rocks~ i guess that explains why i just stepped into my house not an hour ago. lols.

talked to tracy during dinner just now after we finished the stencil. then i really realised how i missed the past. it always feels good to relish the memories despite feeling the subtle and dull stab of longing. afterall, good memories are always worth revisiting. then we talked more about detergents and Y2Js, how we felt about them and stuff. haha. emo day.

anyway, help me think of a motivation for me, so i can will my dead body to stop dragging its feet to school every single morning. [and don't tell me about the new temporary ramily burger stall in the canteen.. darlings, i've gotta watch my calories!]

i'm tired and my hand is red - from all the spray painting. plus the fact i need to reach school extra early tmr, i'm going off to bed.

ciao!

@life bites

yayy. i got into bio olympiad! *beams*

had a short briefing today on what is planned out for the next few months for the preparation. and we are going to be split into groups to do mini lectures. haha. damn cool. my group's topic is on plant anatomy and reproduction, microbiology and biotechnology. and facilitator (hopefully can be changed) is owen tan. klong. we were all rather intimidated when we got the annex on the amount of topics we are to cover. but well it's an experience! *grins*

though i slept for a long time this afternoon, i'm still sleepy. *yawns*. shall not elaborate much today. just know that life's a mess and not only does it suck, it bites. *aww*

@dreadful friday

i'm so so disapointed in sarah ong mei shan. (in case you're wondering. yes, that's me.)

i've been so unproductive lately it's a wonder if i can pass my promos which will soon arrive at my doorstep in approximately 5(edit: weeks). i should start panicking like -- now.

so many things i didn't anticipate have sprung up and sent my already strained schedule to hell. i really really want to cheer for those who are able to withstand the heavy load of school and afterschool activities and yet able to save -like what ms lai said- the little but essential protected study time. i'm lagging in all subjects, my eyebags are getting thicker (which is no small feat since it is already in full-blown mode) and all i can think of every second of the day is the time i can fall into bed for a deep, undisturbed sleep. worse of all, i can't even find time for consultations with the different subject teachers which i so badly need.

what am i suppose to do?

anyway. had chem SPA today which was okay except for the load of crap that i had to memorise for skill D. screwed up halfway because i, so intelligently, went to contaminate my bottle of chemical. well you can guess what happens next -- redo. sighs. but overall the experiment was not tough and i completed all the stuff on time. at least i've one thing to cheer for.

this friday is a very interesting and dreadful day. cos there's a maths lecture test on friday. my maths summary is due on friday. chem assignments 1/2/3 hand in by friday. and i would probably have to finish my essay outline presentation on friday as well. seriously, what a nice "deadline" day. yeah, real DEAD.

well, lamenting doesn't help the situation. so here i go, back to reality and try to finish some of the stupid workload piled up there.

CIAO.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

grabbed from ser min's blog! ^_^

that's all for photos! i'm still dwelling in the post-national day holidays. and so lethargic i can barely drag myself off to homework wonderland. rahh.

yesterday had a wild time talking to those crazy buddies of mine online. and they will also tell you that it's such a rare occasion that they find sarah online as well. was discussing the gp essay presentation with haniff when they added me into the conversation. then all hell broke loose. haha. we were laming, crapping and joking like there's no tomorrow. lols. maybe because i was hungry and i miss my milo peng, i was exceptionally high yesterday. then they started the "hunt for sarah" game that was so stupid. -.- i remembered this particular part of the conversation:

kwang says:
the hunt for sarah game starts now. *looks for sarah*

sarah says:
ahh. *camouflage with the doormat*

ser min says:
...

yanhong says:
...

quan says:
...

sarah says:
*doormat moves*

okay. yes that was unbelivably stupid. but the you haven heard the worse. they came up with a..... western food gang. *shivers* hahaha. it was really really hilarious to hear them come up with the names. in the end it was serbacon, quaneggs, kwangberry (he insists on being the dessert), yanchop and me, salaham. then they added two new members which was kelvin, vinpork and alden, denwing.

seriously. how lame can we get? wahaha.

oh yarh. was looking for quotes on civillisation yesterday. but instead of finding what i need i found lots of lovely quotes that i want to share! haha.

1. The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.
2. A great curse has fallen upon modern life with the discovery of the vastness of the word Education.
3. The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because they are generally the same people.
4. The whole pleasure of marriage is that it is a perpetual crisis.
5. It is assumed that the sceptic has no bias; whereas he has a very obvious bias in favour of scepticism.

i love the first one. *touched*

@patriotism

i went to school today in a RED tshirt, brought along with me my RED tote bag, exchanged my pink jacket with ser min's RED watch, wore a pair of RED socks, matched my jeans with a WHITE belt and borrowed ahma's nail polish and painted my nails WHITE... all to celebrate national day.

am i patriotic or what?

the more i think about it the more hilarious i thought of my exclusive national day outfit. wahaha. i was practically a walking national day flag. *winks* should have just worn my white skirt to emphasize that fact a little more.lols.

met loads of people which i haven seen for ages today! saw yiling, whom i've not seen in a dozen years, and linxun who was slacking around at parkway with her friend. gee. they make me miss all my primary school buddies. klong. and i still think it's a real pity i've got so many primary schoolmates in meridian that i've never got around to say hi. don't even know whether they do recognise me. *ouch* o_o

after we had a filling meal at sukisushi, which was really scrumptious, we went shopping! lols. not exactly though, we only bought a few stuff. and perhaps it was the heavy lunch, everyone felt like sleeping. hehe. piggies, we are. anyways, i've bought myself a hairclip! lols. it has four shiny beads of differring colours! kawaii~

took lots of crazy photos at the sushiplace and even at whitesands where corine, karen, ser and i waited for yan, ahma and clarin. shall upload on the next time though. it's close to two and i can hardly open my eyes, so spare me. (:

it's past twelve, so HAPPY 41st BIRTHDAY TO YOU, SINGAPORE! love you loads.

nitenite. ^_^

@unworkable timetables

went to tampines just now to take my chemistry files from ser min. it was when i reached there then i realise it's been quite sometime since i went there to take a stroll. lols. so ser, yijie, huiwen and i walked around abit and guess who we found? qiqi, liwen and xinying! haha. they were at the eastlink selling their testtubes for charity. must go support them okay? *grins*

since i was already out, i dragged myself to the pasir ris mcdonalds to study. maths. what a horrible pastime on a bright sunny weekend. sighs. then i met weijia who also came to mug. though it was only for a very short time, since he was going out after that. he was the saviour of the day. haha. at least i don't have to study alone. boring but i guess it was rather productive today, because i've finished all my maths assignments, save the current one which lecture is still underway. *thumbsup*

just now popped over to the pulicity gmail acct for the youth ministry. interesting. quite a few pictures for the noticeboard. they asked us to contribute but i have a tiny problem. truth is i'm not even sure what they are doing with the noticeboard... so how to contribute? x_x wahaha. *blurr*

i found something in my email that is damn hilarious. many might already have seen this, but i thought this deserves a place in my entry for being so LAME. wahaha. there are four images, but i'm just going to put two of my favourites! (:

haha. this guy really has a sense of humor. -_-"

anyway. i'm suppose to hand in a revision timetable to my form teacher on tuesday, cos apparently he thinks sarah is a slacker that whiles away her time sleeping or playing. just a question: if i'm really that slack a slacker is there a possibility i might follow the stupid timetable?

guess not.

well, looking at how my teacher is sooo concerned about my time. i shall go ahead and do one anyway. o_o

@i want sashimi

GP presentation was held last week. our group's presentation was complimented on being very clear and precise. woohoo. nothing can beat hearing praises on something we toiled so much sweat over.you guys did great man! *grins* and of course, thumbs up for all the other groups on their fabulous presentations as well. (:

this marks the end of one project. but as the chinese saying goes 一波未平一波又起. one wave yet to cease and yet there is another.it's time to prepare for the next pairwork GP essay presentation. o_o where's haniff? HANIFF......

next up on the timeline.. was AHS 50th anniversary concert at esplanade. the concert hall was magnificent, and really high. haha. our tickets led us right up to the third floor. i was actually a little freaked out at the mere railings that kept us from rocketing off to the first floor. amzaingly, ying wasn't really paranoid over the possibility. haha. but of course, i might have exaggerated just a little. they weren't really frail-looking railings and there's no way you'll fall off unless you willed yourself to do so. haha. overall i thought the ambience and content of the performance was pretty good. just one minor detail... they forgot the school song! i mean it's an ANNIVERSARY. shouldn't the school song be like the most fundamental or something? o_o *scratch head*

today went for interhouse tennis trials. because of the overwhelming response during the registration, i was anticipating a huge group of people. in the end, there was only four pathetic souls. which included me, beverly, and two other guys. i think their names are marcus and jianzhi. i dunno. *shrugs* ONLY FOUR! -_-" in the end we played rally. no trials. and i have to admit at first started playing with beverly was a little freaky. i mean HELLO. she's like the team captain for the school girl's team? lols. but well it turned out pretty fun. haha. then played with another two of my tennis recre teammates. weijia also crashed courts! o_o whee. TENNIS rocks.

woohoo. the next week is packed full of holidays and ILOVEIT! *grins* the class girls are already eyeing the sakura buffet at parkway. lols. guess there goes another 20bucks. but it's well worth the money! it's food! *salivates*

had a cam-whoring session with the trio. lols. this is one of the best!
