@Of hunks and beauties...
TWO DAYS OF HOLIDAYS BEFORE MY LAST PAPER. WHEE.
Okay. Only one left because I've already spent one glorious day of studying and guitar, with those studying peeps - my mirror and ahgong. *grins*
One of the perks of having the last paper as multiple-choice paper is that you get to watch the Emmy's without feeling too much guilt. It's like exercising before you indulge in a heavy calorie meal - not exactly worry-free but you know you've paid your penance. HAHA.
The Emmy's. Just the sound of it makes me drool. Dashing hunks in tuxedos. Beautiful women in gowns (purely admiring mind you, I know what my sexually preferences are). And this year, funny hosts in weird costumes. Those who diligently glued their eyes to the telly would know what I'm refering to -- Ryan Seacrest in his 'Tudor' costume! Despite all negative comments he got from the public, I still think he's yummy. *grins*
Personally, I think Eva Longoria (left) was the best dressed. Gorgeous. No competition there.Though Ali Larter (right) was also rather stunning, all decked out in red.

@I need to take a holiday
Sometimes I really amaze myself.
I mean, look at me! One brain-draining week of papers, but I'm not dead yet! Though I'm only halfway through, it's like being given half the reprieve you've been praying for. *smiles dreamily*
Monday is the granddaddy of all exhaustive days because I have three papers. That will sum up to approximately six hours of knowledge-spewing, brain-juice churning and large-scale marathon scribbling. *shivers* I can't even begin to imagine strapping myself on that chair for such a long time. Today's paper was three hours long. Merely one hour into the paper, I was starting to fidget. Forget about six hours.
Freaking. No. Way.

They always say, 'Once you start, you can't stop'.
So, here I am. Second day in almost half a month. Drawn away from the horrendous piles of books for a short blissful moment in which I plan to drown my woes in computer happiness.
Remember I said I'm getting the hang of studying yesterday? I lied.
Right at this moment in time - with the clock just about to strike midnight, when humans start evolving into beastly werewolves and fairies start dancing about toadstools - I'm feeling the unmistakable vibes of an emotional breakdown.
Perhaps it's just being juxtaposed with the calm silence of the night that's bringing out the messed up state of my mind, but I feel so screwed. That lousy brain of mine is threatening to confound all my efforts at studying. To put it biologically, I feel like a hopeless cell in a hypertonic solution, everything is flowing out and
no sirree, I haven't retained anything.

Woah. Long time since I've came here. *grabs at the invisible cobwebs*
For those who are mildly interested in how I'm doing - pretend if you must - everything's fine and dandy. Well, that is not to say that I like the way I'm spending my days now, mind you. The day I prefer studying to slacking is the day it would rain cows. Or the day Prince William calls me on my mobile. Yep, freaking unlikely. But, I do admit I'm starting to get a hang of it. Hello, you can't help but get used to the mugging lifestyle when your eyes are glued to textbooks every waking moment of your day. *rolls eyes*
I've got a tendency to 'nest' wherever I'm studying, and it seems like the gang I'm studying with also shares the same inclinations as I do. And that's exactly what's happening in the study room for the past two weeks. Everyday there will be something extra to add to the To-Bring-List-For-Studying. At first, it was just the simple necessities - music player, water bottle and jacket. Then we started to bring a little more - sweets, chocolates, biscuits, cup noodles. Finally it became quite elaborate - mugs, packets of milo/coffee/tea, coasters, blanket (That's entirely my doing. The room's terribly cold). According to the plan, tomorrow will be a day of more tidbits and the specially self-brewed honey lemon. See? Studying time - note: not studying itself - can be fun if you just think of ways to make it so! Thank goodness for those peeps.
