@My favourite lazy day

This entry came much much later than what I had previously promised, but you know the saying, better late than never. Hehe.

Anyway the donut-day started really horrible. I mean, any day which starts with a phone call from your boss with the intention to reprimand, is a bad day.*rolls eyes* I shan't explain the entire story because it's bloody long, but by the time the call ended I was really hopping mad. And it was also this particular call that resulted in me not being able to attend 304 class dinner! Argh.

We met first at Yan's house where she treated me to a huge slice of cake from 'Awfully Chocolate'! Yummy. Then it was to Raffles Plaza to get our box of donuts. We lugged around that box of donuts and finally decided to settled for starbucks where I had this huge headache choosing between latte and iceblend. >__<

As you can see, it was iceblended mocha after all. Hehe.

It was an extremely lazy day 'cos all we did was talk alot and maybe read a little. Yan was suppose to be studying for her BTT while I read my book, but she decided it was not worth the time and so didn't bring her materials along. -__-

We then went shopping around marina square where we met Modissa who just finished work. She's working as a florist now, damn cool! (:

Dinner was at tampines because I wanted to go there and collect something. It was also there where I finally bought something - not shown in the picture though. Wahaha. (x

Basically, that day was my kind of lazy day. Just the way I want it to be. *thumbsup*

@Double chocolate donuts please!

I didn't go to work today because of a slight fever and a really bad stomachache. Frankly speaking, I couldn't have picked a better day to be sick because tomorrow is my leave day as well. Which - if you still haven't get it - translates into a longer break from work! Can you feel that huge cheshire grin coming up? Wheee.

Tomorrow will be entirely spent with Yan, who is actually supposed to be studying for her basic theory test but decided what the hell it's too beautiful a day to be cooped up at home. Besides, I've got this monstrous craving for donuts since the start of the week. Ha! There is simply nothing to stop me from getting my donuts - I will drag Yan along at all costs. *evil grins*

little black dress

I want want want want this dress soooo much! Haha. Picture is a little stingy with the details but it is actually an eyelet dress with - one of my favourite feature - two huge buttons. Maybe we'll take a detour from the yummy donutty session. Hehe.

Shall keep you updated on what happens tomorrow.

Mata ne! (:

@To go or not to go?

my favourite view of T2

I am THIS close to tendering my resignation letter.

As the previous post mentioned, I am currently at terminal 3. For any tourists, T3 is absolutely shopping heaven. Even I had been fascinated and overwhelmed by the number of stores in the transit area. But that does not necessarily translate my love for that place. In fact, I absolutely abhor it.

One, walking to the shopfloor simply takes a thousand and one years because that place is goddamn big; Two, there are no staff canteen which means ridiculous lunch expenses everyday on our not-so-generous income (ToastBox is disgusting, thank you.); Three, the crowd flow is so horrendous (even at the wings!) I am going home hours later than my usual shift everyday; Four, the superiors are really unhelpful and I have zero, nil, nada liking for them (Urgh!); Five, I haven't found anyone that I can really talk to. (I want my team at T2. Sigh.)

The only good thing about T3 is probably the fact that Yan and Julie are there. But even then, I don't get to see them everyday. Sigh. I don't even get the same bloody lunchtime, for goodness sake.

I was seriously considering sticking to this job till June. Now? Haha. No way. I rather kill myself first than die on the job. One more week and then I'll probably call up Matthew. If he's not willing to transfer me back then I guess it's sayonara, au revoir, byebye.

P.S. I wonder how are the guys faring at Tekong. Haha. Can't wait for the 25th. (:

@I want to go home.

I miss T2.

I miss walking to work with Jasmine.
I miss seeing the usual security officers at the entrance.
I miss walking into the familiar storeroom.
I miss saying hello to all the sweeties in Team A.
I miss having breaks at Wang Cafe.
I miss sitting at the cafe watching aeroplanes.
I miss calling Jasmine at her counter to chat.
I miss eating lunch at the staff canteen.
I miss eating the beancurd.
I miss the friendly sales staff that would hang around to talk.
I miss the way I don't even need to ask for their code.
I miss my counter and that tall chair.
I miss taking the same cab home with Jasmine.
I miss everything at T2.

I hate T3. Can I go home?

@I miss my class squirts.

Yesterday, there was a mini class gathering at my house.

It was more of an accident really. Somehow word had gotten round that Sarah has a little dinner meetup at her place and calls poured in to inquire whether they could pop over as well. Hey, no complaints there though. I really miss seeing those lovely peeps of two years. (:

Eleven adorable people in total! That's almost half the class. Haha. Dinner was pizza delivery which consisted of four yummylicious pizzas, two boxes of mouth-watering fried chicken and garlic toast. Halfway through monopoly - which we gave up playing anyway - we coerced my poor sister to be our cameraman and took crazy pictures. As usual.

Shoot! I'm going to miss these blasted people when all the girls found work and guys get themselves bald and shipped off to tekong. Maybe the next time we should make it an official class gathering and get the whole gang together again. Hehe.

The only regret was the dinner clashed with the farewell dinner for Weide, who is enlisting today. Yikes, sorry I couldn't make it! Haha. Don't worry, we'll have tennis gathering soon anyhow. (:

*ATTENTION*
Date: Friday - Sunday [11th - 13th Jan]
Time: 12pm - 10pm
Venue: Singapore Management University aka SMU

Chaijun - and Justin's sister - is opening up a booth at SMU selling clothes. You can get more details at Eclatbella! Personally, I think I will pop over for a good little indulging spree myself. Haha. Drop me a message if you're going. See you there~

@I want to sleep in lectures.

I'm dead tired, I hate to work and I miss school.

Okay, more like I missed the days where I could sleep in classes. Haha. Working's really tiring and man, does it torture the feet! The worst thing is, I could count thousands of dollars in the cash register everyday but it never belongs to me. Damnit. Haha.

Anyway, there has been loads of speculations about the dates for releasing the results and the earliest seem to be the start of February. Shoot! I haven't even start to consider what I want to do. I always thought that misshapen monster called future will take shape somewhere along the way. Or that I will wake up one day and realised I've always wanted to be a zookeeper. Maybe not. You get my drift.

So now that it seems like bumbling mess of glob in my head has entirely no clue to what the future me looks like, I'm suffering from a minor panic attack. I used to have a lot of ideas, but gradually they got shot down one by one. Interior designer? Not creative enough and I hate to draw. News anchor? Don't have the looks. Breakfast&Bed owner? This is Singapore, there are no B&Bs around. Too bad. I've even considered being a librarian, because I LOVE books. But a librarian once told me they didn't have time to read. Turtles.

Basically up till now, I haven't found a single career that interests me. It really doesn't help that Singapore has sooooo limited career choices. Everyone who graduates goes into medical, law, accounting, banking or teaching. Starts there. Ends there.

Boring.
