@[part one] the post-prom life

It seems so ironic that now that I have all the time in the world, my posts are getting fewer. It's okay though, I can remedy that immediately. x) But it seems as though my ability to express myself literally has diminished drastically.

*I've split this post into two parts - the wordy entry and photo trail*

First and foremost, I've gotten myself a job at the airport transit area - many thanks to Karen! The shifts are quite irregular though, which means that my plans of enrolling into a language course are flopped. Now I can only depend on the books that Kwang has generously offered to lend me. ):

Secondly, we had two SSG gatherings recently! The first one was actually more of a farewell for Justin who has already enlisted in national service. After settling down at the airport staff canteen, we caught up on the latest news, exchanged more gossips and cracked alot of new jokes. Overall, I think the entire evening was superb! The second gathering was actually organised on a whim of ying, who abruptly mentioned she wanted to have steamboat. Only six turned up, but it was still fun nonetheless. Wheee~

Lastly, primary school chalet at Coasta Sands Pasir Ris! It was really exciting to see all the peeps I once knew. Yan's secondary school chalet was just beside us! Damn cool. x) On the first night, I managed to sit down and talk to Ser which I haven't done since a long long time. Awww. Plus, I had a small but sudden revelation during the chalet - no, I'm not saying anything - which I was hoping it was over. Apparently, not.

Okay, it's christmas eve and I'm stucked at home. Seriously. I better go find something more exciting to do. =x

MERRY CHRISTMAS, PEEPS! <3

@Give me that Wii !

Whew. Last week sure flew by fast enough.

In just a blink of an eye, prom is finally over. I'm extremely relieved to say I've actually enjoyed this much more than that disastrous prom two years back. However, that is not to say there were no hiccups throughout the night. Like, forgetting to bring my camera - that was really idiotic - or that rebellious hair of mine going bonkers even with that thick layer of hairspray which seems incapable of holding it down. Or the plain fact that I have once again missed the opportunity of getting something from that lucky draw.

Damn, I really wanted that Wii console. *sulks*

Some of the girls - namely Ser, Ahma, Ahyuan and I - went for a little gathering at Karen's house a few days ago. Played a little mahjong then went simpang for an infuriating supper. There were no tables available at the usual stall we ate at because of the ongoing soccer match which attracted quite a crowd. Plus, it was pouring which chased all the people into the shelter. So we had to make do with it and settled at a stall with inedible food, lousy service and horrendous waiting time. Forty minutes! Grr.

Oh, I had my hair cut on Sunday. No more irritating waistlength hair, yippee! To give it a little credit, it's quite fun to have lots of hair to meddle with sometimes. Sometimes. But it was one time too many so I snipped it off. O.O

Photos for prom and my new hair will be up soon. Ja!

@A response

I had another entry neatly typed out. But I decided to get this out in response to another entry on another blog, because I'm boiling, spitting mad. It feels like I was wrongly accused but the person executed me anyway. You can go ahead and skip this entry and no comments please.

To whom it may concern (Yes, you know who you are) :
Read this with BOTH your eyes open, think it through before you even start to rant about all the injustices done to you. Firstly, you bought the wrong size. It was your fault so don't dump them on me. I couldnt care less if you took them both and sold it. Did you even hear me mumble anything that sound like I want them?

Plus, it wasn't on purpose to make you walked around at the mall. You don't expect me to pick up that bloody phone when I had my head full of dozen of pins, dye and god knows what right? I'm paying the haircut entirely on my own so you don't have the darn rights to sulk. Good and nice girls ASK politely whether they could get a haircut as well. Not throwing dirty looks and storming off into a corner, pissed off like the whole world owes you something. Shit, you really should at least try for once to talk it over like an adult. We don't have telepathy ok? I know shit of whatever that's going through your mind.

That goes the same for the phone. Nobody is pretending to ignore your hints, despite whatever crazy ideas you have in that peabrain. (Oh please, that wasn't even a GOOD hint.) Nobody said anything about not buying a phone. But you know that was way too expensive so get over it, find a cheaper one then start negotiating again. That's the right way to go about doing it. Not throwing childish tantrums. I know you're going through a rough patch, but can you just stop feeling sorry for yourself? Stop thinking 'I am soo unlucky' or 'Why does this shit only happens to me?'. You're not the only one who really have problems although we don't rant them on our blogs. Try mature, please.

Anger speeds up ageing you know? Someone just commented I don't look my age already, so do me a favour and personally thrash this out with me face-to-face.

@Killer litter

Interesting updates:
o1. Daddy pierced his ear a few weeks ago.
o2. Daddy became a 77thStreet member - 'cos he wanted to buy earstuds.
o3. Yesterday, sis and I help informed of a mini bush fire.

My family is soo fun. Really.

It rained big yellow shoes today. Luckily - and thankfully - it was only one shoe and I was three bloody feet away from it's landing zone. Killer litter do kill, ok?

Especially yellow, spiked soccer boots.

Thank goodness I'm slow, else there would be a few additional holes on my head. As if my brain juice isn't leaking fast enough. *rolls eyes* Damnit, I should have taken a photo of that stupid boot. Then I can start snooping around the block to find that irresponsible booty-unlicious owner. Ugh.

Tennis this wednesday. I'm tingling with anticipation, right down to the toes. (:

@The Curious Cat - komaneko

Woke up bright and early this morning to catch a short film, together with Ying and Jorim, at the National Museum. It was totally awesome! *Alert: Fuzzy pictures*

The Curious Cat - komaneko - is a Japanese stop-motion animation which starts with the story of a cat who wanted to make its own movie. The hour-long film has no dialogues, expressing words by the play of emotions and actions of individual characters. Of course, the kitties in the film do mew. Terribly adorable, I must add. *grins*

I truly recommend this exceptional film, though I have no inkling as to where you can find it. Whether you buy the DVD or wait for someone to upload to youtube, just grab the chance to watch it if you can!

P.S Owner currently suffering from tennis withdrawal symptoms. Help, anyone?
