@4days?! You gotta be joking..
It has always been a well-known fact that Sarah -
yes, that's me - don't exceptionally enjoy strolling along Orchard Road, together with the endless crowds. So it is bloody ironic that now when my freedom has been fully reinstated, the place I go to everyday is
Orchard. *rolls eyes*
1st day - Shopping with classmates and outing with tennis recre.
2nd day - Shopping with yan and tracy.
3rd day - Movie
'Fred Claus' at cineleisure.
4th day - Lunching at Goodwood which was -
of course - still in Orchard.
*sighs*
Anyway, waiting for my family to arrive so we could go for lunch gave me the time to reconsider if I should get my ice-cream top. In the end, I got it! And at a very cheap price ($13) I must add, thanks to my superb haggling skills. Whee~
Lunch was at a restaurant in Goodwood Hotel. The entrance couldn't have been more grand, with its long white marble stairway lined with red carpet, and the quaint interior radiated its personal charm. It is by no means a grand hotel as compared with the more reputable ones in town, but I am equally delighted by its homey ambience.
The restaurant serves dimsum buffet, which we ate heartily. But the limelight was on the restaurant's special final dessert - durian pudding. Every single spoon was true durian flesh. Every single spoon was pure heaven. *sighs with pleasure*
Too bad every guest was only given one bowl of the pudding. Dang.

From this moment onwards,
Advanced Levels Examination is history.
I never thought this day would come. The last two months had been so exhaustive. So much tears, encouragements, fear, anxiety and determination to get through this seemingly insurmountable ordeal. Just halfway through the exams - almost half a month gone - when I was so weary of everything, nervous breakdowns were exceptionally frequent. The
trigger was always the bad vibes that something went very wrong with the previous papers coupled with haunting reminders that you have at least
ten more papers to go.
Suffice to say, this period of time was not exactly the best moments of life. But troubled times are no more! Now it's a whole new dimension of slacking and hibernation. *grins*
Right after the last paper, we went shopping at Orchard! Gorged ourselves with burgers at mos (I finally got to drink my vanilla milkshake!), then walked around spotting potential shoppable items. Our
'cool girl' - Yan - finally bought her shades! Yayy.
Met the tennis recre peeps in the evening, where we dined at
'fish & co.' The food was scrumptious and I had my first mussel! *yumyum*
The absolutely
gorgeous christmas decorations are up in Orchard! I looove the
M&M chocolate house - no photos though!
We settled at
Indochine for some drinks, snacks and bonding time, though we had to scream to make ourselves heard because the live band was right in front of us. Haha. Plus after getting a little woozy from my
Appletini, we decided to sit back and enjoy the music instead. Not before taking thousands of photos though. No way.
Wei De, Alan and I missed our last bus home. *yikes* So we took the express bus which was much more expensive, and it doesn't send us home directly. I walked for almost half an hour before almost collapsing at my doorstep.
Though I had buckets of fun, but it really took a toll on me. I was
sooooo tired. Sorry, but nocturnal lifestyles are really not for me. Haha.
