Sunday, April 01, 2007yesterday was an extremely hectic day.
met the tennis girls in the late morning to pick out the jerseys
(outfits?) at queensway. on the way, hazel entertained us with a very silly game and geraldine was making our hair stand with corny pickup lines.
geraldine: do you have a plaster?us: why?geraldine: cos i fell for you.(back to jersey-shopping) there were lots of shops but all had limited stock so we had to check at every store. cat and i didn't get our fbt shorts. sam got her long-awaited bag and flip-flops. trixie and i each sneaked a waffle. and bev was still looking for her wallet when we left.
after that went to meet yan and ahma to redo the blocktest. i am still clueless by the reason behind redoing the questions. if i couldn't do them during the exam, what makes you think i can do them now? weird. ate popeye for the first time yesterday. chicken strips were deliciously cripsy~ but i don't find fascination with the buttermilk biscuit.
(don't kill me.)i pulled yan to TM to check out stuff, but the store was closed for the day.
(i have to go back again later.) yan, determined to abuse her 18-yr-old authority, haughtily strode into cheers, only to find limited choices of alcoholic drinks available. in the end, she treated me to a can of
(very noob) jolly shandy. lols. we thought it was hilarious.
we walked home! haha. not because we wanted to save on the miserable bus fare. yan didn't want to reach home so early, and i had time to spare. so we started walking. there was this shortcut that leads to a darkly-lit, freaky pathway that cuts through the park. but timids we were, so we took the cowards way out and followed the long, brightly-lit road along the expressway. we sang and talked all the way to keep the dark at bay. it was ridiculously fun but we decided not to do it often. cos it takes out the element of surprise.
i've discussed with mama. she said i could get a new racket, provided i pay her back in installments. no more extra after school entertainment for me. but it's all worthwhile~
