today, i have truly experienced the actual meaning of "rubbing salt in the wound", literally.
my mom accidentally nicked my hand with her perfectly-manicured, neatly-painted french nails, which totally -and, grossly- scraped off a piece of my skin. ugh. after cleaning up the wound and stemming the blood flow, i made a very wise decision of eating french fries. *note the sarcasm, please*
you can vaguely guessed the sequence of events after that -- i sprinkled the salt into the wound. well it doesn't sound very painful, since the nick is small. but i guess for someone who has such well-developed pain receptors (according to everyone), it is definitely no exaggeration.
moral of the story: don't eat fries or anything that is able to spurt salt when you have a wound on your hand, mouth or even toe. just to be on the safe side.
sarah is dying of boredom at home. yes, i am definitely rotting. four straight days at home without going out is sure to make a sane man mad. *shudders* and though i admit i am considerably insane, i am going even crazier by day. so just a call-out to anyone who thinks he/she is spending too much time with the dustmotes in the house, like what i'm doing, please call me out to play! i'm getting claustrophobic. *sighs*
oh yarh. i got to watched a terrific drama called 'taiyou no uta' by sawajiri erika! lols. i got hooked on it after listening to the song 'good-bye days' by yui. although that's the theme song for the movie starring yui. sawajiri is really pretty and though her singing is no match for yui, i still like her loads. wahaha. besides, i really love her acting in the show 'ichi ritoru no namida'. three cheers for sawajiri~
i've attached the music video of 'good-bye days' by yui! thanks to youtube.
