took a trip down to the library today, and i found a lot of books that piqued my interest. except for the sad fact that i've got only a sad four-books loan limit (like the rest of the world), adding on to the fact that i still have three currently on-loan. gahh.
anyway, under recommendations, i picked up a book of poems by william blake. up till now, i've found several favourites. that i may just post here if i have the time. although all the
thou,
thy and
thees are making my head spin, it is interesting enough to make it worth the effort. why, i might just borrow a book of
yeats if i get through this one. haha.
just finished
'deep blue' by kat martin, i realised i've found another novel author, with a writing style that i've come to appreciate. yayy. another new source of reading material, besides my all-time favourites like julie garwood, linda howard, etc. recently, i've sort of broadened my scope of reading to include more non-fictional titles that contains more philosophical aspects.
So, i've made a list of the titles i'm going to start on:
o1.
Papa Hemingway - A.E. Hotchner
o2.
If I were a man, I would marry me - P.S. Wall
o3.
Five People You Meet in Heaven - Mitch Albom (has been on the list months ago)
o4.
The Life of PI - Yann Martel
julie garwood's
'shadow dance' had been out for quite some time. but i haven't manage to get hold of a copy for myself. rahh. maybe i should just splurge a little to reserve the book or simply grab one at the bookstore. >___<
i'm trying to curb a sudden urge to buy a book and pamper myself. sighs.
christmas is just 55mins away. so in advance... Merry Christmas! ^___^
