these few days are really horrendously wet. it has been raining for three consecutive days, and almost everywhere will be flooded if not for the extensive drainage system we seem to have. of course there are still places that are not able to escape their fate of being flooded with rainwater waistdeep. o__o just that day, a few tiny leaves got clogged up in the drain at the corridor of my house. almost instantly there was a mini flood up to the ankles just on the other side of the door. the cutest thing was the water was only accumulating at the front of my doorstep. my neighbours were totally unaffected. x__x lols. weird water.
grandma came over our house to recuperate after she was discharged from hospital. just to explain, she just underwent an operation because apparently without her knowledge, she swallowed a 3cm-long fishbone. o__o and what made it worse was that the fishbone poked through her intestinal wall and got outside. which eventually caused the stomachaches. eww.
but anyway glad she's okay!
